Marvel’s masterpiece Avengers: Endgame is off to a meteoric rise at the box office. The film is currently the number two top-grossing film of all-time with over $2.2 billion earned after only a few short weeks. The film is slated to easily surpass the 2009 James Cameron classic Avatar as the top grossing film of all time, and may even cross into the $3 billion territory. With so much money raining down from Asgard you are probably wonder how much the actors are earning for the record-breaking film. Well wonder no longer. We are breaking down the salaries some of the actors earned for the Avengers finale.
Well it is probably a no-brainer that Robert Downey Jr., who will undoubtedly be forever known as Tony Stark, was the top-earning actor in the film. For his portrayal as Iron Man Downey earned a jaw-dropping $75 million+. Instead of opting for a traditional upfront salary, Downey negotiated a backend deal that allowed him to earn more based on the success of the film. Downey could end up making as much as $200 million based on current projections.
Chris Hemsworth will earn $20 Million for the role of Thor.
Chris Evans will earn $20 million for the role of Steven Rogers, also know as Captain America.
Scarlett Johansson will earn $20 million for the role of Black Widow.
Mark Ruffalo will earn $20 million for the role of Hulk.
Jeremy Renner will earn $15 million for the role of Hawkeye.
